1. First kiss

“This is it!” I heard for over 5 times, repeated over and over. Finally, they can now be as close as any skin and bone can dare, without being haunted by shame or blurry happiness.  It was so kilig to witness their first kiss.

I believe that true love waits. It may sound old school, but Bible romance never grows old. [bctt tweet=”I believe that true love waits. I believe that true joy can only be experienced if it is not tainted with any shame.

That’s a dream wedding to me – to be able to kiss my groom without shame in my heart! A love free and holy!

By the grace of God, it shall be. I would like to have my first kiss with my soon-to-be husband when the Pastor says so. Realistically, of course, it is never easy. We live in an age that makes us excited to get more physical, but end up feeling awfully unsatisfied. Only when God is fully glorified that we can have our hearts truly satisfied. I want my first kiss to be special and holy. Something that is not given easily. Something that the man I’ll marry should work hard for, something that would cost him hundreds of thousands (for who gets married with only fifty pesos these days? 😉 )

I applaud the couple for running as far as they could from temptation and running as fast as they could towards God’s enabling grace.

I hope the couple had the most memorable night. Because indeed, finally, “this is it!”

They are truly a power godly-ever-after couple as described in this article!

ABOUT THE COUPLE

Pastor Mark Bilang pioneered Sea Gentile’s for Christ Ministries satellite church in Manila called Jesus and me Church (JAMC) Manila which is located at Guadalupe Nuevo, Makati. He did this while studying at Asia Theological Seminary. Ate Grace also got enlisted as a scholar to the same school. They both graduated together. Check out JAMC Manila Facebook Page here.

Pastor Mark used to have his Monday getaway at Ebenezer Beach / Bible Seminary to pray and read his Bible when he first noticed Ate Grace who also was there to spend her time with her God. Who would know that it’s actually the start of a story for God’s glory? Truly, we will not lack anything if we seek God.
