Who holds such a name?

The curse of rebellion

Strongly defeated

The power of reconciliation

Our gross sins and utmost shame

Ended the reign of

The glorious One

The wondrous Son

There at calvary, a true story:

Evil won; hope is gone

We almost had faith that

God’s love conquers it all;

His rich mercy paid it all

And heaven saw this mystery:

Man’s great transgression

Killed

The God-man in crucifixion

The Father witnessed

Our great crime is impossible to pay

We wrongly believed

Grace will unveil a new day

Love will reveal a new way

We realize the truth

The story of God’s reconciliation

Is finished

Oh how we should not forget it
